One of the most famed producers of Gaming gear, Razer has continued its reputation and slogan of ‘For Gamers, By Gamers’ with the unveil of their latest Gaming Keyboard, Deathstalker Ultimate.
The unveiling occurred in one of the World’s Largest Gaming event, Gamescom 2012. Razer announced few other gaming gadget of their own.
The Keyboard is an extreme gaming gadget, holding a 10” touch pad along with 10 LCD keys which can be transformed according to touch buttons of your choice
The LCD keys, called the switchblade User Interface, previously present in Razer’s Gaming Laptops are a total hit. These keys can be transformed into anything, from social media buttons to music player options to extra controls in a gaming environment. They can be anything you like.
The switchblade interface comes a with a software, Synapse 2.0, which enable you to store and control your keyboard profiles via the cloud. An excellent option for users who move around to play. Razer’s CEO explains Switchblade like this,
“With the Switchblade UI on the Razer DeathStalker Ultimate, we wanted to offer gamers an enriching and intuitive gaming experience built for total game control.”
The touchpad is also versatile with two modes. The first mode is the in-game mode where the screen displays critical game information and timers. The touchpad can be used to launch different social application during the game to stay in touch with your friends. The second mode is a typical touch pad mode that helps you navigate through your PC and game
The keys backlight include 3 colors,green, purple and red, creating a perfect environment for gaming and an ambience to keep you engaged.

The keyboard is set to be released next month at a price of $250 and a touch-pad excluded model of $80.
