LG is one of the rising names in smartphones market with many of its phones ( specially the Optimus Series ) popular among users. In order to provide best user experience, LG will be providing Android ICS update for LG Optimus Black, 2x, Lucid, Lte, 3D, PRADA, vu, Nitro HD and Spectrum.

The news was leaked by seven colour gossips who mentioned that the LG Indonesia was working day and night to release the update. The update includes an ICS with the latest LG Optimus UI 3.0.
LG is already hot in the market with the announcement of its new Phone LG Optimus G set in 19th September 2012
The Optimus UI will come in with several features including a new lock screen(with shortcuts and new gesture, plus a look underneath, and face unlock).
There will also be some good organizing tools like quick memo which allows you the freedom write on your screen wherever you want.
New features are added to the camera as well with the video player for Optimus nitro / Lte / vu (that is fast / slow motion, live zooming, thumbnails seek, additional audio)
Special update for Optimus 3d includes features like, DSLR shot, ruler tag, 3d macro, manual focus, zooming while recording and an auto repair brightness on Optimus black.
The update will be huge and will hit many phones simultaneously providing LG users with the ultimate ICS Android 4.0 Update.

As far as I know Q is a quarter, it means 4 months. Q3 is the 3rd quarter, it means from sep to dec.

So Oktober is Q4 and LG is late.

ReplyDeleteLG mobile phones are like running Windows 95 on an i7 machine. Why bother to make hardware which are really good, just to be let down by out of date OS LG?
I will run my P920 3D until the point I am bored with it and then will never ever buy LG phones again. However, keep making these good TVs as that the only confidence I have left in LG as a company.

Bro just took delivery of Galaxy S3. Makes my LG OPTIMUS look like a dogs dinner. Not to mention the name galaxy sounds so much sexier than OPTIMUS, which in m opinion sound GAY! oh well....pussy cat will not get it's tongue burnt with hot milk twice...bye LG

ReplyDeleteCan we SUE LG for this...false promises(Q2 then Q3 then...), misleading (purchased made based on understanding that product will be upgradeable), lack of customer service (major PR issue...I feel like contacting the BBC), product not fit for purpose (i.e. I understand that some devices are having ghost calls on ginegrbread..)
