We reminded you all for this event and it was big. Nokia held a
press Conference in which they announced their latest high end devices, Lumia
920 and Lumia 820 powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 OS and many many more
World’s most famous cell phone manufacturers today announced their
presence in the smartphone market with HOT features in their phones like the
Pure View Imaging, Wireless Charging and most of all the king Windows Phone
interface.
Nokia Lumia 920 is a king of device with a strong 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core
processor, good enough to handle any OS. Although this is by no means as
strong as the quad-core of the Samsung Galaxy SIII, no one will care about it
if the device doesn’t stutters with high end applications
The Camera is a ‘not so impressive’ 8.7 MP. But wait, hold on! Its
not that sobre. The camera has several features. The pure View technology in
the camera has things like Image Stabilization with keeps the image perfect
even if your hands shake while you hold the camera. The City Lens Option allows
you to open your camera and walk through the unknown roads while the device
will tag the places on the screen. Cool eh?? And yes!! 1080p video recording as
well
Wireless Charging? Ohh yes its here. Nokia has introduced this
technology to charge phones without wire connections. Its like placing your
phone on a stand and it will charge. Unfortunately, you still have to keep your
phone in one place to charge it.
Nokia Lumia 920 features
a one-piece polycarbonate body, with a sleek design and vibrant colors
that will surely attract users. The build of the phone? Its Nokia people! It
wont Break.!!!!
Windows Phone 8 is the main
highlight of the Phone. The device has typical Windows Phone features with Xbox
Interface, assigning your favourite person a place on your home screen and most
important, a screen shot button. The interface looked very user friendly with
several features to aid you in navigating thorugh the phone.
It also holds an NFC and a MicroSD
Card
Nokia lumia 820 is a little less
powerful phone then the 920, with features like back cover and MicroSD Card
With Nokia playing its last dice with the Windows Phone 8, it might just save them. As Samsung has already
released a phone with Windows Phone 8, Samsung ATIV S it is likely that Nokia
will face a tough competition in the market.
