Samsung Chief Confirms Galaxy Note 8 Tablet to come in MWC

Samsung Galaxy tab 8 inch

The Month of January has been the most exciting with CES revealing smartphones like Sony Xperia Z and leaks like the Motorola X. Yet another story has been broken about the Gadget World with the Samsung Chief Jong-Kyun Shin confirming that an 8 inch Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet will be unveiled at MWC in 2013.

The Samsung Chief made this news public through the iNews24 which was successful previously in getting the news of Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini Unveiling.

There has been no other news regarding the Specifications of the Device but Previous Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will have 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, and fit 1,280 x 800 pixels in that 8-inch display. More over it will host an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a  5-megapixel back camera, and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Device will surely have the S Pen Functions which have been the hall mark of Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

Confused why Samsung is releasing an 8 inch Tablet while it has a 10 inch tablet in the shape of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (which recently got a Android Jelly Bean Update), you need to look at the iPad Mini. Sized at 7.9 inch screen, iPad Mini was the First adventure of Apple in the 7 inch market (which turned out to be almost 8 inch) and Samsung had to get something out in that Screen Size to Compete with Apple.

Considering the Leaked specs, the device would not have been much of a Challenge to the iPad Mini if it hadn't got the S Pen Feature. The Samsung Stylus with things Like Air View will make this device usage Worthwhile.
