HP Launches its first Pavilion 14 Chromebook: Costs $330

HP has entered the Chromebook market with its first Chromebook release today. The series of devices featuring Google’s Chrome OS has had now till now many manufacturers including Samsung and HP has deviated from the first time from its traditional Windows Devices.


The device has specs which will not excite many but the price surely makes some eyebrows rise. Priced at $330, the HP Chrome has the following specs,
  • 1.1GHz Intel Celeron 847 processor
  • 16GB solid-state drive
  • HDMI port
  • RJ-45 Ethernet port
  • three USB 2.0 ports
  • 2GB of RAM (upgradable to 4GB)
  • HD Webcam.
  • weighs 4 pounds
  • two-year deal for 100GB of storage at Google Drive.
The device runs on the Chrome OS which hosts a multitude of Web apps as the OS is all about running it all over the internet. The gadget is good if you have a constant internet connection moving around with your laptop but if you want to play games, store a movie, it is not the gadget for you.
