Nokia announce the Verizon held Nokia Lumia 928: Best Low Light Imaging to Debut

Nokia Lumia 928
It really has been a weird marketing stint by Nokia ahead of the release of Nokia Lumia 928. After putting up ads on a magazine and its website, they released a video Recording Comparison video and when we thought now they would tell everything about it in the May 14th event, Nokia announced the Phone and availability of its Website. Strange!!

The Smartphone was announced today on Nokia’s website along with its specs and availability. Nokia’s flagship will be Verizon Exclusive.

CAMERA

The device holds a 8.7 MP Camera with Optical Image Stabilization, PureView,Carl Zeiss f/2.0 Lens and of course xenon flash. The supposedly hyped Shooter of this device can capture 1080p video at 30fps.The Imaging of this Phone is set to give a good competition to HTC One & iPhone 5 but might not compete against Samsung Galaxy S4.

UNDER THE HOOD
NUSA-Lumia928-PP-Hero_Image_Carousel_2000x1000-04The Smartphone is set to come with a 1.5 Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 and a modest 1GB of RAM. Yes its disappointing but that’s how Nokia Works. It hasn’t event entered the Quad Core market yet but its Windows Phone 8 has covered for that all. The Phone has 32 GB Internal Storage and a 2000 mAh which will not be sufficient

SCREENNokia Lumia 928 verizon
The Lumia 928 has a bright 4.5” Display with considerable resolutions of 768 x 1,280 pixels. Its an AMOLED Display and although it doesn’t sound much, Nokia has a trend of making excellent displays.

Although we can expect a good display, more cant be said about the display without a Hands On

OTHER FEATURES
The Lumia 928 has LTE, NFC and Standard dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0. Wireless charging is also a part of the ‘Features Package’ which hasn’t been a real hit.

AVAILABILITY
The smartphone is Verizon Exclusive in US and will hit the stores on may 16th with $100 Contract of 2 years. It will be available throughout the World within a Month.

Do You Think Lumia 928 can compete with HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4?
