Microsoft’s Internal Memo: The Next Xbox will NOT require a constant Internet Connection

Microsoft has announced the Next Xbox event for May 21st 2013, within a few months of Sony PlayStation 4, and leaks have started to surface over the Internet. Recently, an internal Memo of Microsoft has leaked which states that the upcoming Gaming Console of Microsoft will NOT require a constant Internet Connection for Usage.

The Memo was an email that Microsoft sent to its employees currently handling the Xbox 720 Durango Project.

The email states,

"There are a number of scenarios that our users expect to work without an Internet connection, and those should 'just work' regardless of their current connection status. Those include, but are not limited to: playing a Blu-ray disc, watching live TV, and yes playing a single player game."

The Email confirms that the Live TV of Xbox will come with HDMI Support. Considering how much Offline Capabilities will the next Xbox have, we expect it to be less then the Xbox 360. Previous rumors have suggested that Microsoft is focusing on stopping Second hand Games to be played by users and therefore every game needs to be registered before play.

Previous rumours contradict with this one. However, as ArsTechnica suggests, the offline mode will allow users to only to get the cd in but to two play the game, internet connectivity will be required.

The Next Xbox is coming in May and it will bring with it some Awesome games including Call of Duty: Ghosts
