Samsung announced its this years’ Phone cum Camera, Galaxy K Zoom. The device, essentially hybrid, is a the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. K Zoom is the second in line of Phones Samsung started last year with a High Quality Zoom Lenses. As Samsung states, this impressive gadget ‘Kaptures the Moment’.
The smartphones was announced with Android 4.4 KitKat and almost all the Touch Wiz Features available in the Galaxy S5.
The Samsung device has Samsung's hexa-core Exynos chipsets combining quad-core 1.3GHz and a dual-core 1.7GHz processors. To support that is 2GB of RAM, similar to Samsung Galaxy S4. The handset is 20.2 mm thick which makes it quite unwieldy for Pockets. With 3G and LTE radios, 8GB of internal storage and a rather disappointing 4.8-inch 720p screen, it is a lacks under the hood a little.
The counter that, K Zoom has a 20.7 megapixel 1/2.3 BSI CMOS sensor alongwith a 24-240mm F3.1-6.3, 10x zoom lens. The phone has a xenon flash with an LED autofocus with optical image stabilization (OIS). On the front is a 2MP selfie Camera.
Since it’s a Camera oriented Phone, it has the Camera features of the modern day photo captures. One such feature is the Selfie Alarm. In Selfie Alarm,you can capture a location in your rear Camera and then spot the place you want to place your face in that picture. Now Turn around the cellphone and take a picture of your face and Voila! You have just taken a selfie! K Zoom Captures 3 photos to choose from to place in that frame. Totally Selfie Feature!
