Facebook has a never ending newsfeed with tons of interesting stuff shared by our friends but you cant read them all. So that you don’t miss out on any of the good stuff, Facebook rolled out a ‘Save’ feature for its Android and iOS App. Here is all you need to know about ‘Save’ and How you can get started.
The Facebook Save feature was announced by the Social Media Giants on July 21st and is rolling out to Users WorldWide.
Save is basically a link saving feature for your Facebook. With it, you can save any websites, places, music, books, movies, TV shows, and events to view them later. Next time, if you find a great article but don’t have to time to read it, SAVE IT!
To check if you have already received the Save feature, Select any article or check-in or book read on your newsfeed and Tap on the arrow beside that feed. If you find the Encircled option on the ScreenShot, you have received Facebook Save.
Now Go On and save a few more things on Facebook Save. Once you are done doing that, you can check where your links where saved. Here is How you can do it.
1. Tap on the ‘More’ Tab in the Top Row of Tabs in your Facebook App [ScreenShot 1]
2. Scroll Down until you Find the ‘Apps’ Menu. Tap ‘See All’ to see all the Apps [ScreenShot 2]
3. Scroll Down in Apps Menu to Find ‘Saved’ [ScreenShot 3]. Tap to Open
Once you open ‘Saved’, you can see your saved Items.
The Saved Items can be viewed all together or categorized according to Links, Places, Music and Books. Tapping any article will trigger a response according to the type of the Saved Item e.g. a Status Update will open a check-in. Also, you can Swipe Left to open a Menu which lets your Archive that Post, View it or Share it on your Timeline.
