IFA Berlin 2014 is round the corner with Samsung preparing its Galaxy Note 4 to worldwide launch. While the focus is on the large high-end phablet of Samsung, there is another midrange phablet series by Samsung called Galaxy Mega. Second iteration of the Megas is set to be unveiled soon but Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 was previews before launch.
Apparently some retailers in Malaysia and Thailand have started selling the device ahead of launch. Therefore the specs of the device are now out and confirmed. The Mega 2 will come Running withAndroid 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. It has pretty mundane mid-range specs, including LTE, a 1.4 GHz. quad-core Exynos 4415 processor and a 1.5 GB of RAM to support it. There is an expandable internal memory, and a 2800 mAh of removable battery. There are variations in rear shooter as Thailand version features an 8 MP camera while chinese have a 13 MP.
Coming in Black and White, Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will be around $400.
