If you are using Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, Microsoft Windows 10 is now available for you to download. The upgrade keeps your old files, settings and programs intact which is undoubtedly useful, but robs you of the chance to experience a Fresh Windows 10 Experience. Here is how you can clean Install Windows 10 on your Computer.
- Internet Connection
- 8 GB USB (Minimum)
- Software: PowerISO/MagicISO/WinRaR
Important: You need an Activated (Registered) version of Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1 to complete this clean Install. To check if your Windows is activated,
Hit Windows+R on Keyboard and type ‘slui.exe’
Step 1: Open this LINK
Step 2: Scroll Down and click on the 32-bit of 64-bit version download depending on the current Windows bits version you have installed.
To Check your current bit version, go to this LINK. Scroll down until you find ‘Automatic version detection results’ below which you system bits will be written.Step 3: Extract the downloaded .ISO file using any extraction software WinRaR, Magic ISO, Power ISO etc.
Step 4: Format the USB using FAT 32 File System
Step 5: Copy the Extracted Files in the USB.
Step 6: Copy all the useful data from your C:\ drive as it will be formatted
Step 7: Restart your Computer (with the USB plugged in) and hit F8, F10 or F12 repeatedly until ‘Boot Device Selection Menu' appears. Select USB as your Boot device
Step 8: Windows 10 Installation Menu will appear. Hit the Install button.
Step 9: Next menu will show you two options for Installation.
- Custom Advance
Select Custom AdvanceStep 10: Select the Partition(drive) in which you wish to Install Windows and format it (Format option will appear once you select one).
Important: During the Installation, a screen will appear asking for Product Key. Hit the Skip button. After the installation is complete, it will prompt again for it, hit ‘Do this Later’.
Once the Windows starts and connects to the Internet, it will register your device automatically activating your Windows 10.
